Course overview

Computer Science is in the process of moving from software to service ware and therefore from syntax to semantics. DERI Galway is a research institute dedicated to conducting research for creating and connecting the digital society using semantic technology. By performing world-class research in a world-wide network of sister institutes, participating in global standardisation efforts, creating and distributing open-source tools, bringing technologies to the market and to communities, DERI Galway is actively taking the lead in improving the way people and businesses communicate and interact, creating a better life for people in Ireland, the E.U., and abroad.
