Russian for Beginners

I recently undertook the Russian for Beginners short course. It gave me a basic knowledge of spoken Russian for everyday use which was just what I required. The lecturer introduced the Cyrillic alphabet, Russian vocabulary and grammar through a mix of in-class “role play”, reading and general conversation. We got wonderful course notes and some “homework” to be done for each week! The lecturer was excellent, full of enthusiasm, never late nor stinting in her time and helpful to each student. I really enjoyed the learning experience.
